PRINCE GEORGE COUNTY, Va. (WTVR) – The Virginia Department of Transportation said it planned to close lanes on the Benjamin Harrison Bridge Tuesday, May 8, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
VDOT said traffic will be stopped “intermittently” as crews continue to repair damage caused by an April accident.
VDOT suggested the follow detours to avoid delays:
- From Prince George County: state Route 156 to Route 10 west to I-295 north to Route 5 east (exit 22) in Henrico County to Route 106.
- From Charles City County: Route 106 to Route 5 west to I-295 south to Route 10 east (exit 15) to Route 156.
