RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR) – The Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) is warning drivers about the possibility of “major delays during rush hour” on Interstate 95 thru Richmond Monday morning.
In an email, VDOT spokeswoman Dawn Eischen said the left lane on Interstate 95 will remain closed through rush hour on I-95 north at Laburnum Avenue (mile marker 79).
She said crews are working to repair a damaged crash cushion reported to VDOT overnight by Virginia State Police.
Scheduled construction work in the I-95 bridges restoration project resumes tonight, according to Eischen.
