RICHMOND, Va. (RichmondBizSense.com) – A hookah bar near VCU is fuming that a massive building project turned its storefront into a construction zone and scared off customers, and the owner has filed a lawsuit seeking damages for the alleged losses.
Sahara, a restaurant and hookah bar on West Grace Street, is suing VCU and building contractor Whiting-Turner for $1 million for blocking its business with two construction projects that take up the entire city block. The restaurant is sandwiched in between the projects at 813 W. Grace St.
