RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR) – A former Henrico County Sheriff’s deputy pleaded guilty to child pornography charges Friday in United States District Court, according to a press release from United States Attorney Neil H. McBride and Virginia Attorney General Ken Cuccinelli.
Court documents showed U.S. Department of Homeland Security agents detected John Harlan Mullins, 53, after he accessed dozens of pictures from a child pornography website.
After seizing his computers following a search of his home, investigators said they found hundreds of child pornography pictures. They said the images show prepubescent children being sexually abused.
Mullins will be sentenced on June 29, 2012.
