RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR) - Richmond fire officials are investigating a kitchen fire that broke out around 5:00 p.m. Saturday in the 1800 block of Clarkson Street.
Lt. Robbie Hagaman said fire fighters were able to get the fire under control within eight minutes. No one was injured in the incident.
Firefighters were able to contain the fire to the kitchen, though the incident did cause smoke damage to the residence.
Investigators are still working to determine what caused the fire.
