HENRICO COUNTY, Va. -- With only a limited amount of people allowed into sports games this upcoming "fall" season, Henrico County Public Schools is asking for your help in making sure fans at home get to watch as well.

The county is looking to have each high school's game live-streamed on YouTube, but said they must get enough subscribers first in order to satisfy YouTube's live streaming rules.

"Each high school’s YouTube channel must reach 1,000 subscribers in order to be able to live stream events on smartphones and other mobile devices," a Henrico Schools spokesperson wrote in an email.

Both home and away games and would be live-streamed and would start for some fall sports when the action begins Feb. 22.

The Virginia High School League chose to postpone fall sports to prioritize safety but did decide to keep the seasonal label the same.
