RICHMOND, Va. - Social distancing is becoming the new normal, but that doesn’t mean we can’t still support our favorite local businesses. CBS 6 has launched We’re Open Virginia, an effort to tell the stories of businesses and restaurants who are still providing services and who need your support more than ever.
jij frozen custard has taken its food truck and made it completely contactless! Owners Kendall and Chase Appich are teaming up with other local businesses to provide meals alongside their super fresh frozen custard pints and sundae kits to go!
Visit their website to find their menu and the locations of service. Go online and purchase your order and then just pick up!
Here’s their updated schedule:
4-7pm - The Club at Harper's Mill (8600 Pullman Ln, Chesterfield, VA 23832 - dinner from Salt & Forge!)
Chef Theresa Headen and her team at Elegant Cuizines of Ashland are doing everything they can to continue saving you healthy, delicious meals prepared with love and spirit.
Elegant Cuizines is open for pickup on Wednesdays from 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm. Additionally, they are offering meal prep with pickup on Saturday at 4:30 p.m.
Please join us in supporting these amazing local businesses as you secure key things for your time at home. Visit www.wtvr.com/open to view a list of additional stories. If you have a story can share on We’re Open Virginia, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
