RICHMOND, Va. -- A woman was killed early Wednesday morning in Richmond, according to police.
Officers were called to the 1100 block of North 25th Street, near Venable Street, at about 2:45 a.m. when neighbors heard gunshots
"Once on scene, they found an adult female with a gunshot wound. She was pronounced at the scene," a Richmond Police spokesperson said. "The Medical Examiner will determine the cause and manner of death."
The woman's name has not yet been released.
