HENRICO COUNTY, Va. -- A seven-figure purchase has secured the site where a national used-car retailer wants to erect one of its signature “car vending machine” towers in Richmond.

The 1.6-acre property at 2201 Westwood Ave., where online auto seller Carvana is planning a multistory car vending machine structure and offices, recently sold for $1.75 million.

Divaris Real Estate reported the sale last week. The transaction was not reflected on online property records as of Friday.
