PRINCE GEORGE, Va. -- Three people have been arrested for allegedly stealing money from gaming machines at several businesses in Prince George County.
Police say the trio tampered with gaming machines at three separate businesses resulting in more than $5,900 in stolen cash.
The crimes occurred at the businesses between July 19 and August 1.
Tio M. Robinson, 36, of Decatur, Georgia, Demekos Anthony Barkley, 38, of Atlanta, Georgia, and Ateilah Amatullah Janan Toon, 27, of Charlotte, North Carolina were arrested by Prince George Police on August 4.
"The investigation revealed that all three arrestees have been traveling throughout several southern states committing thefts from North Carolina to the Washington DC area," said a Prince George Police spokesperson.
A three suspects have been charged with multiple felony and misdemeanor offenses resulting from the tampering and stealing of monies from gaming machines.
They have been transported to Sussex County Jail.
