AMELIA COUNTY, Va. -- The search continues Monday for Mary Baker. The Amelia woman was last seen Saturday and a Senior Alert was issued Sunday.

"The heartfelt support and outpouring of volunteers who have dedicated their time to assist in the search for Mrs. Mary Baker continues to be overwhelming," the Amelia Sheriff's Office posted on Facebook. "We are truly grateful to our community and surrounding jurisdictions that have reached out to help."

The search is ongoing for Mary Baker and we ask everyone to continue checking your property and outbuildings.

Baker, 79, woman was last seen Saturday evening at her home on South Amelia Avenue.

"[She] suffers from a cognitive impairment and the disappearance poses a credible threat to her health and safety," the alert read. "There is no vehicle description. The senior is believed to have walked away from her residence on foot."

She was last seen wearing a pink sweatshirt, blue jeans, and black tennis shoes, according to investigators. She is described as 5'2" and 170 pounds with blue eyes and grayish blonde hair.
