Richmond Police seek driver in pedestrian hit-and-run

RICHMOND, Va. -- Richmond Police are seeking additional information in a hit-and-run that injured a pedestrian earlier this month.

The RPD Crash Team responded to the 3400 block of Hopkins Road at approximately 10:40 p.m. on September 9.

The call came after a passerby saw the pedestrian, stopped and called 911.

After collected evidence and completing measurements, the crash team determined a vehicle traveling on Hopkins Road struck the pedestrian in the roadway, before leaving the scene.

The pedestrian was taken to a local hospital with serious injuries.
