CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. -- Police are investigating after a man and a woman were found dead inside of a Chesterfield home on Monday.
Around 4 p.m. on May 4, police were called to the 2500 block of Reymet Road for a welfare check.
Once inside, police discovered a man and woman who were both deceased.
Police say that it appears to be an isolated incident and that there is no threat to the public.
Crime Insider Sources say that the incident was a murder-suicide and that the bodies had been inside of the house for at least a week.
