Police investigating drive-by shooting in Carytown

RICHMOND, Va. – Police are investigating a drive-by shooting in Carytown Monday afternoon.

Police say the incident occurred in in the 3500 block of West Cary Street at approximately 12:12 p.m.

The male victim reported an unknown man in a black sedan fired several shots into his occupied vehicle while both vehicles were in traffic on West Cary Street.

Police said the man in the black sedan drove eastbound away from the scene.

No one was injured in the shooting.
