CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. -- Authorities have released the name of the 27-year-old driver who died following a two-car crash along Iron Bridge Road in Chesterfield County Saturday evening.
Chesterfield Police were called to the crash in the 7200 block of Iron Bridge Road at about 6:26 p.m.
Police said a Toyota Corolla was trying to turn east onto Iron Bridge Road when the car pulled out in front of a Jeep Wrangler headed westbound.
The driver of the of the Toyota, Caleb Schoorens, of the 7100 block of Koufax Court, was transported to an area hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Schoorens died of his injuries Sunday, according to police.

There was no word if the driver of the Jeep was injured.
Police said their investigation into the wreck is ongoing.
