Men wounded, 1 critically, in South Richmond shooting

RICHMOND, Va. -- Police are investigating a shooing on Richmond's Southside that sent two men to the hospital Saturday evening.

Capt. Michael Snawder with Richmond Police said officers were called to the 100 block of E. Roanoke Street for a shooting report just after 5:20 p.m.

When officers arrived, they found a man suffering from an apparent gunshot wound, according to Snawder.

Police said he was transported to an area hospital injuries that were not life-threatening.

Officials said a second man showed up at the hospital a "short time later" with an apparent gunshot wound.

Snawder said that man's injuries are life-threatening.
