PETERSBURG, Va. -- Police are investigating after a man was shot at a Petersburg motel Saturday evening.
Officers were called to the Econo Lodge in the 900 block of Winfield Road just before 7:30 p.m. for a report of a person shot.
When officers arrived, they found a man suffering form a gunshot wound.
Police described his injuries as not life-threatening.
Crime Insider sources said the victim was shot in the mouth.
