RICHMOND, Va. -- Two lottery players took home big prizes from the Virginia Lottery.
Marcus Gil bought the grand prize $250,000 Double Dollar Crossword ticket from a 7-Eleven store located at West Broad Street and Parham Road in Henrico's West End.
“It was surreal,” he said, “I couldn’t believe it!”
Across the river in Chesterfield, Bobby Gray won $100,000 playing the Virginia Lottery's Cash 5 game.
Gray matched all 5 numbers during the August 18 drawing, earning him the top prize.
Gray, who bought the ticket at the 7-Eleven on Chamberlayne Avenue and Azalea Avenue, said he planned to pay bills with his winnings.
