RICHNOND, Va. -- Two Richmond Dunkin’ franchisees are giving back to those on the front line of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Lou and Julie Cabral brightened the day of staff members at the Children's Hospital of Richmond at VCU at a time when they needed it most.

On Thursday, Lou and Julie donated hot coffee for all 355 staff members at CHoR’s Children’s Pavilion and Virginia Treatment Center for Children.

“Everywhere we look, people are helping out in their local communities. Our team is honored to be a part of the Richmond community and have the opportunity to give back to those on the front lines,” said Lou Cabral.

Lou and Julie Cabral, who own nine Dunkin’ restaurants in the Richmond area, said they hope the hot cup of coffee can put a smile on the staff's faces during this difficult time.

“Front line responders all around the world are working hard right now to protect our communities, and we hope that providing them with a hot cup of coffee can provide them with some sense of normalcy during these uneasy times,” Lou added.
