PETERSBURG, Va. -- A non-profit group helped out the Easter Bunny by handing out baskets filled with goodies to kids in Petersburg Saturday.

Regenesis, an outreach ministry with Spirit Life Worship Center, usually puts on a massive easter egg hunt for the community.

That had to be nixed because of the COVID-19 pandemic, but the church did not want the children to miss out on the holiday.

So the group spent the past three months raising money to buy the baskets and Feed More donated treats to fill them.
