HENRICO COUNTY, Va. -- A Henrico dance studio that had to postpone their spring recital held a drive-thru parade Saturday to benefit a great cause.
Judith Matassa, who has been running The Dance Studio on Lakeside Avenue for the past 37 years, said she and the other dance teachers put on the drive-thru parade dubbed "Cookies for Kids."
Matassa said the idea was that her students and their families would drive by and wave hello to them as something "for all of us to look forward to."
The studio collected a variety of sweet treats from students during the parade to donate to their local food bank.
