Chesterfield Police, Sheriff’s Office delivers donuts to hospital workers

CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. – A motorcade of Chesterfield law enforcement officers showed their gratitude to health care workers at Johnston-Willis Hospital Friday morning.

Chesterfield County Police and the Chesterfield County Sheriff’s Office joined forces and delivered donuts to hospital staff as they work tirelessly to keep Virginians safe amid the COVID-9 pandemic.

“We appreciate you all so much!,” wrote Col. Jeffrey Katz, Chesterfield's Chief of Police. “The Chesterfield County Sheriff’s Office and Chesterfield County Police Department consider ourselves fortunate to have capable, committed, and compassionate partners in each of you!!! Stay safe and God bless.”

“We could not be more grateful to our partners at the Chesterfield County Police Dept.,” the hospital posted on Facebook. “We thank our hometown heroes for your thoughtfulness and your commitment to keeping our community safe.”
