Here's where to get a free COVID-19 test in Richmond, Henrico

RICHMOND, Va. – Three COVID-19 community testing events have been scheduled for the week of September 7th in the City of Richmond and Henrico County.

Tuesday, September 8 - Southwood Management Properties
1400 Southwood Parkway Richmond, VA 23224
Time: 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM
Rain date/location: September 10 at Hotchkiss Field Community Center

Thursday, September 10 - Hotchkiss Field Community Center,
701 E Brookland Park Blvd, Richmond, VA 23222
Time: 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM (Event will be held rain or shine)

Saturday, September 12 - Fairfield Middle School
5121 Nine Mile Rd, Richmond, VA 23223
Time: 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM
Rain date/location: September 14 at Diversity Richmond, 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM

The free testing is being offered for people who may not have insurance, or whose insurance does not cover COVID-19, who have COVID-19 symptoms, who are pregnant, are age 65 and older, or have underlying medical conditions.

Testing will be conducted by appointment to facilitate safety and social distancing.

To register for testing, call the Richmond and Henrico COVID-19 hotline at 804-205-3501, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday-Friday (except holidays).

Walk up testing is available to persons who meet testing criteria, but is not guaranteed due to limited availability.

Individuals will be notified of their results in 5-7 business days. If notification is not received after 7 business days, call the Test Results Hotline at (804) 486-2107.
