WTVR CBS 6 announces the return of NOT4ME, the successful contest aimed at discouraging underage drinking and vaping.
The 2019-2020 contest kicked off Tuesday, Sept. 3 and continues through Sunday, Jan. 5, 2020, when all submissions are due.
“CBS 6 is committed to increasing public awareness and the harmful effects of underage drinking,” WTVR-TV General Manager Stephen Hayes said. “Our priority is to empower and encourage our youth to act responsibly, and this campaign helps support our mission.”
NOT4ME is a fun and meaningful way for students to join talent and technology together. It puts the spotlight on creativity, promotes a positive message to our community, and offers a motivating incentive for the winner…and winner’s teacher.
Any actively-enrolled high school student in the Richmond Metro Area may enter the NOT4ME contest by submitting an original 20- second public service video around the “NOT4ME” theme. A prize worth $500 will be awarded to the top contestant and to the winner’s teacher.

<h2>Tell us why underage drinking is not for you — and you could win BIG
NOT4ME is a contest to promote an alcohol and vaping-free lifestyle through a video YOU produce. Pick up your phone or camera and put together a 20-second clip.
You can work individually or as a team to write and produce your project. Be creative and have fun making YOUR video. Then, fill out the form on this website and upload your video by Jan. 5, 2020.
All submissions will be viewed by the NOT4ME committee and the top five finalists will have their videos displayed on the contest page where viewers can vote for their favorite. The grand-prize winner will walk away with a $500 cash grant as will the winner’s teacher.
Anyone can enter to win, but if you’re under 18, make sure you have your parents’ permission. [Click here for a printable student release form | Click here for the official contest rules]
