ROCKY MOUNT, N.C. — Nevaeh Richardson was found and the AMBER Alert for her has been cancelled.

Richardson was found alive in Sharpsburg, NC, according to Rocky Mount Police.

Richardson’s mother told WNCN she left Nevaeh in her vehicle while she ran inside a friend’s house to pick up a laptop.

“As soon as I turned my back and turned back around to step out the door, she was gone, my truck was gone,” Precious Hart told WNCN.

Police have not yet released details about the person who took the truck.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Rocky Mount Police Department at (252) 972-1411.
