RICHMOND, Va. -- Military service members took to the field at Washington Redskins training camp on Thursday, July 28.
Each service member participated in football drills similar to those used by NFL coaches to evaluate potential talent.
"It's cool to come out here and see professional athletes do what they do best, and do what they do every day," said a service member.
"It's very exciting to be out here in this environment, doing the drills they do to get in top shape," another service member said.
Players got jerseys and swag afterward.
