RICHMOND, Va. — Police have made an arrest in a homicide from April.
On April 19, 2016, officers responded to the 00 block of E. Laburnum Avenue to investigate the report of a man down in the rear yard of a residence.
Officers converged on the location and discovered an adult male deceased in the rear yard of a residence.
The victim was struck several times by rounds from a handgun.
An investigation ensued, culminating in the recent arrest of Jamal Short, age 28, for the offense.
