Woman charged with making bomb threat at Chesterfield Courthouse

CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. – A Richmond woman has been arrested after police said she made a telephone bomb threat to the Chesterfield County Courthouse on April 7, 2016.

Jodi Gayan, 33, has been charged with threatening to bomb or burn an establishment. The crime is a class five felony punishable with a maximum sentence of up to 10 years in prison.

Police said the call was made to Chesterfield County Circuit Court.

Gayan is currently being held without bond in the Chesterfield County Jail.
