Gunman runs after dinnertime robbery at Midlothian Turnpike Arby’s

CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. -- A Midlothian Turnpike fast food restaurant was robbed at gunpoint Tuesday night, according to Chesterfield Police. A man wearing a hoodie walked into the Arby's along the 7400 block of Midlothian Turnpike, near Boulders Parkway, at around 7 p.m. Monday and pulled a gun on the cashier.

"The suspect took money from a cash register and then fled to a car parked nearby on Granite Springs Road. The vehicle appeared to be a dark-colored, early 2000s Ford Mustang," a Chesterfield Police spokesperson said. "The suspect is described as a white male, about 6 feet 1 inch tall with a very thin build. He appeared to be about 35 to 45 years old and was clean shaven. He was wearing dark-colored pants and a dark blue hooded sweatshirt."

No one was hurt during the robbery, police said.
