In the Tuesday night Sportscast, the VCU Rams beat Rhode Island 83-67 to remain just a 1/2 game back of 1st in the Atlantic 10.  In front of the school's 81st straight sellout, Mo Alie-Cox scored a game high 21 points as he lead three players in double figures.  Melvin Johnson added 19, as he four three-pointers in the win.  Korey Billbury chipped in with 14 for the Rams, as they shot 53% from the field.

Due to A-10 restrictions, we can't show the Richmond game on our website but the Spiders had their three game winning streak snapped at Davidson 83-79.  T.J. Cline led the Spiders with 25 points as the team shot 51.8% from the field.  Davidson, who played without the conference's leading scorer Jack Gibbs and two other players, were led by Peyton Aldridge's 24 points.
