Richmond, Va. — Melting snow combined with the heavy rainfall from Wednesday afternoon will create flooding for some sections of the James River. A flood warning is in effect through Friday. Saturated ground from the melting snow allowed some of the rainfall to runoff the land into the river.
The Westham location will be near flood stage Friday afternoon before it drops late Friday.
