VCU overcomes a 9-0 North Florida run to start the game to knock off the Ospreys 80-68 at the Siegel Center. Mo Alie-Cox had a career high 19 while Melvin Johnson added 23 more to improve the Rams to 8-5 heading into A-10 play this weekend

UVA trailed Oakland at the half, but pulled away in the second half for a 71-58 win, their 10th in a row

Virginia Tech commits 21 turnovers in an 88-63 home loss to 19th ranked West Virginia

Henrico wins their Holiday Hoops Tournament for the first time in three years with an 87-74 win over St. Christopher's. DeMonte Buckingham had 28 points, Richard Sanders 19 and Gus Rowland added 18 more to overcome another double-double from Nick Sherod who had 29 points and 13 rebounds for the Saints who suffered their first loss of the season
