HOPEWELL, Va -- There's a new champion of barbecue in Hopewell.
'Taste of Grace BBQ' was picked as the big winner of the 'Get Your Butts to Broadway' Festival. The restaurant was named the top pick by the judges. Guests were also able to pick their favorite -- in that contest, Friends of the Lower Appomattox River came out on top.
Local and regional barbecue chefs compete in the event to be named 'Best Butt on Broadway'. Apart form the barbecue competitors, there were also food and beer trucks.
The festival was originally supposed to take place on June 27th, but had to be rescheduled because of bad weather.
