HARTLEPOOL, England -- A very special pair of dogs is looking for a new home to live out their lives together. Glenn is a 10-year-old blind Jack Russell Terrier. He gets around with help from his 9-year-old “guide dog” Buzz, a Staffordshire Bull Terrier. The dynamic duo was rescued from a sea tunnel in Hartlepool, England in May and they have since been staying at a Stray Aid shelter. The shelter believes the pair may have been abandoned due to their old age.
Sue Bielby with Stray Aid told the BBC the dogs are inseparable and become upset when they’re apart.
“Glenn gets his confidence from Buzz, and if they were separated even for a few minutes they both bark and become distressed, so they would need to have a loving home together.”
According to Bielby, the ideal home would be quiet and stable without young children.
The shelter will only consider rehousing the pair together.
