RICHMOND, Va. -- The remnants of Tropical Depression Bill will approach the area today and pass to our northwest tonight. The chance for scattered storms will increase this afternoon into this evening.

Tornado threat is not very high, but it is slightly higher than Thursday night, when three tornadoes struck the Northern Neck.
The remnants of Bill will be more focused overnight for western and northern Virginia. Rainfall totals of 1-3" are possible.
Rain will taper off around daybreak Sunday morning.
