RICHMOND, Va. -- The Richmond Flying Squirrels will honor former WTVR anchor Stephanie Rochon with a moment of silence Tuesday. Stephanie passed away last week after a battle with cancer.
"The Flying Squirrels are about community and Stephanie was a vital part of Richmond," Squirrels Vice President and COO Todd "Parney" Parnell said. "She was loved by many and we want to honor her memory, her family, her WTVR CBS 6 family and her fans by taking a moment to remember all of the many things she accomplished, what she meant and will mean to people all over our great region."
The moment of silence in honor of Stephanie will take place prior to the game which is scheduled to begin at 6:35 p.m.
