ORANGE COUNTY, Florida -- Police in Florida are investigating the death of timeshare mogul David and Jackie Siegel's teenage daughter. Victoria Siegel, 18, was found unresponsive in the family's Florida mansion Saturday. She was later pronounced dead at the hospital. While the cause and manner of Victoria's death have not yet been determined by the Medical Examiner, a family spokesperson told WESH it appeared her death was not the result of natural causes.
"The victim's father has informed investigators that he will be making a statement in the coming days regarding the death of his daughter, and is requesting privacy at this time," the Orange County Sheriff's Office indicated in a news release.
Victoria's parents were out of town at a wedding at the time of their daughter's death, WESH reported.
The Siegels were the subject of a documentary The Queen of Versailles about their opulent lifestyle during the country's recent economic downturn. The Siegels also recently appeared in an episode of Celebrity Wife Swap.
