Man killed when motorcycle crashes into Louisa fence

LOUISA COUNTY, Va. — A 27-year-old man was killed in a motorcycle crash Wednesday night on Chalk Level Road (Route 625), near Mount Pleasant Church Road (Route 624), in Louisa County. Gabriel Adam Zimicki-Bowditch, 27, of Louisa, was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash, Virginia State Police spokesman Sgt. Steve Vick said.

“A 2006 Yamaha YZF-R1 motorcycle was traveling south on Route 625, when it ran off the road to the right and struck several fence posts. The operator came off the bike after striking the fence posts,” Sgt. Vick said. “[Zimicki-Bowditch] was wearing a helmet.”
