Richmond man wounded in overnight shooting

RICHMOND, Va. — A man is recovering after being wounded in a early morning shooting in Richmond.

Officers found a man wounded in the leg in the 2300 block of Ambrose Street near I-64 and the Midlothian Turnpike around 2:30 am Sunday morning.

Investigators tell CBS 6 News the victim refused to cooperate with police.

RPD says the man’s injuries are not believed to be life threatening.
