HANOVER COUNTY, Va. — A multi-vehicle accident snarled traffic along I-95 south in Hanover County Friday afternoon.
VDOT said the wrecks closed the left lane of the interstate near Lewistown Road (mile marker 89).
As a result, there was a five-mile backup as of 5:25 p.m. However, the backup had cleared as of 7:30 p.m.
