CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. - Hull Street Road (Route 360) reopened Wednesday morning after a car crashed into a power pole late Tuesday night. A car travelling eastbound crashed into the pole along the 7300 block of Hull Street Road at about 11:30 p.m. Tuesday, Chesterfield Police Lt. John Miller said.

That crash happened right in front the Waffle House, next to Manchester Middle School. The driver, police said, suffered minor injuries, but the crash caused the power pole to fall down and sent power lines across Route 360.

Dominion Virginia Power told Chesterfield Police the repairs to the power pole could take up to six hours.

Police detoured traffic onto Walmsley Boulevard to Turner Road and sent drivers in the opposite direction if you are going westbound. Chesterfield Police urged drivers to avoid the area.
