A photo sent to CBS 6 shows a Jeep Wrangler flipped on its side. Police confirmed the single vehicle accident happened around 4 p.m. on Wednesday.
The Jeep was traveling south on Westham Parkway when it ran off the road, the right tire hit a driveway culvert, and it overturned.
The driver, age 16, and the 15-year-old passenger were transported to VCU Medical Center with serious, but non-life-threatening injuries.
The driver was charged with reckless driving.
