Driver ejected before car bursts into flames along I-64

HENRICO COUNTY, Va. — Virginia State Police are investigating a single-vehicle crash that sent a driver to the hospital Sunday night

It happened shortly after 8 p.m. on Interstate 64 west near the exit for Interstate 295.

Troopers said that the driver was ejected when the car overturned and then burst into flames.

The driver was taken to VCU Medical Center with serious injuries.
