HOPEWELL, Va. — Hopewell Police responded to a shooting into an occupied apartment at around 12:30 a.m. on Sunday in the 100 block of Ruth Harris Street. There was one person who suffered a graze wound injury.
Hopewell Police say that the bullet traveled from outside through the exterior wall and couch before it reached the victim. There were several individuals inside at the time of the shooting.
The victim was treated and released, according to a press release from Hopewell Police.
