(CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va.) – Chesterfield Police are investigating an attempted robbery that occurred in the 3200 block of Meadowdale Boulevard around 10:45 a.m. on Saturday.
Police say that the victim was approached by a male suspect who demanded the victim’s property. The victim was shot in the foot by the male suspect who fled away on foot without taking anything from the victim.
The 24-year-old male victim was transported to a nearby hospital to be treated for injuries that are not life-threatening.
The suspect is described as a tall black male wearing a white shirt and blue shorts. He was last seen running to the area of Chippenham Parkway.
