Police search for suspect accused of robbing Broad Street apartment

Richmond Police detectives need the public’s help to identify the suspect in the photos, who is a person of interest in a burglary that occurred last week.

RICHMOND, Va. — Richmond Police are asking the public for help identifying a person of interest in a burglary that occurred on April 7.

That Tuesday, a suspect is believed to have entered an unlocked apartment in the 1300 block of West Broad Street and stole items, police said.

Police described the suspect as a black male who wore a grey t-shirt, black knit cap and a dark-colored track suit with a white ‘A’ on the front.

Detectives ask anyone with any information about this person to call Third Precinct Detective Eric Sandlin at (804) 646-1010 or call Crime Stoppers at 780-1000 or text Crime Stoppers at 274637, using the key word “ITip” followed by your tip. Both Crime Stoppers methods are anonymous.
