RICHMOND, Va. – Two legendary Hollywood stars were in Richmond Thursday to raise money for a good cause.
Actor Henry Winkler, who played The Fonz in the hit 70s show “Happy Days,” along with actress Marlee Matlin attended a fundraiser at TheVirginia Home near Byrd Park.
Winkler and Matlin, who were in the River City to help raise money for the rehabilitation facility for people living with disabilities, signed autographs and chatted with fans.
And residents surprised their special guests by donating to the actor's favorite charities.
Winkler and Matlin were also spotted at Mama Zu's, a delectable Italian restaurant in Richmond, on Wednesday night.
"The BEST Italian food in Richmond, VA - Mamma Zu - and the best company!" Matlin posted on Twitter.
CBS 6 anchor and reporter Greg McQuade had the pleasure of meeting Winkler Thursday afternoon.
