HANOVER COUNTY, Va. — The 911 lines serving some parts of Hanover County that were down Thursday morning are back in service.
The problem was discovered Thursday morning and impacted lines serving Gum Tree, Montpelier and Beaverdam.
Service was restored just after 3 p.m.
Residents had been told to call the county’s alternate emergency line at 804-365-6140.
There is no word yet on what caused the outage.
