LOS ANGELES — The long-rumored sequel to the highest-grossing animated film of all time has been confirmed by Disney. There will be a Frozen 2. Disney CEO Bob Iger, Disney and Pixar studios chief creative officer John Lasseter and Josh Gad, the voice of Olaf, confirmed the news during the company’s annual shareholders’ meeting on Thursday. Variety first reported the news on Thursday.
Jennifer Lee and Chris Buck, the original film’s directors, will return for the sequel. A release date has not been announced.
