PRINCE GEORGE, Va. — A man has been arrested after he barricaded himself inside a Prince George home and held officers at bay for hours.

The Prince George Police Department confirms that they responded to a domestic disturbance call around 1 am in the 3000 block of Diagonal Lane off South Crater Road. The Virginia State Police tactical also responded to the call.

Officers said 23-year-old Timothy Drewry II eventually surrendered and was taken into custody.

Drewry was charged with domestic assault.

He was booked into the Riverside Regional Jail. He was later released on bond.
